Blount County Sav-A-Life is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1996 by individuals with a vision to minister to ladies experiencing a crisis pregnancy and share the love of Jesus with them. We are a Christian ministry supported solely by generous individuals, churches, and civic groups who are committed to the sanctity of life. Although we are a Christian, non-demoninational ministry, we have never refused to offer our services to support anyone because of their religious affiliation or the lack thereof. We minister to ladies dealing with reproductive issues. We do this by offering compassionate support, factual information, and positive alternatives to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy. We speak to students at schools, youth groups, and teen organizations about abstinence until marriage. We also have a Helping Hands Closet to help with the material needs of mothers and their babies.
