Parenting Classes with Rewards!

Pregnancy and parenting are filled with lots of uncertainty. This program helps to answer many of the questions you have and ease your anxiety. A bonus is that Earn While You Learn is an opportunity to earn the things you need as you participate in classes to learn about pregnancy and parenting. As you participate in the program, you will earn "Parenting Money" that you can spend in our special Helping Hands Store to buy diapers, wipes, baby and maternity clothing, and other needed items. Anyone is welcome to take these classes; however, we generally have items for children up to about size 2T. You can come just one time, or as many times as you would like.
The lessons are fun, interesting, and practical. We can help you learn how to be the best parent you can be! Topics covered in our parenting classes include:

In addition, the Helping Hands Store is the type of project that the whole community can get behind. Donations of new or gently used items needed by a mother and her baby. We do not accept used car seats and used cribs must meet the most recent safety guidelines. By giving a one-time donation or becoming a monthly donor, you help Blount County Sav-a-Life reach more young women facing unplanned pregnancies with practical help and love. This would be a great project for a women's club or church group. As a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, all donations to Blount County Sav-a-Life are tax-deductible if you itemize.
