Baby Bottle Boomerang: Help Us Meet Our Goal

On Mother's Day and Father's Day, churches are invited to distribute baby bottles furnished by Blount County Sav-a-Life. The church members and attenders take them home for an allotted time and fill these bottles with coins, dollar bills, and checks, and return them to the church.  Just like a boomerang, they come back to Blount County Sav-a-Life with much needed funds for operations and services.  Not only does this annual project raise funds, but it increases awareness in the community about our ministry and services.

Since its inception in 2001, over 1,400 pro-life organizations have used the Baby Bottle Boomerang project to raise over $70 million and to inform the church community about their services and needs.

​Baby Bottle Boomerang Continues to Grow

For more than two decades, the Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser has helped support the life-saving services and outreach of Blount County Sav-A-Life. Thanks to the generosity of local churches, families, and community members, this annual campaign continues to make a meaningful impact. In recent years, support has steadily grown, with donations totaling $15,854.31 in 2023, $11,251.59 in 2024, and an incredible $17,434.60 in 2025. We are deeply thankful for every individual and church that participates in helping us serve women, children, and families in our community.

Donations Total $8,600+ in 2018

In special efforts on Mother's Day and Father's Day 2016, Baby Bottle Boomerang in Blount County resulted in donations of $8,600 and counting,  with 24 churches and organizations participating.  We are very thankful to these churches/organizations for taking part in this annual project:

Note:  A couple of local churches plan to do their own Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser at the end of the year.  Churches, organizations, groups, and individuals can contribute to our Baby Bottle Boomerang at any time.  Just send collected donations to us at the address below. Be sure to put Baby Bottle Boomerang on the memo portion of your check.
